So, yesterday, while making a tortilla (Spanish version, aka thick potato omelet), I managed to be an ABSOLUTE RETARD and potato-peel a chunk of my thumb-nail off.
It didn't hurt... really. More shocking than painful really.
IT'S JUST THE FACT THAT I PEELED OFF A CHUNK OF MY THUMBNAIL THAT'S THE PROBLEM.
Jesus H Christ. Apparently I was SO IN THE POTATO-PEELING ZONE that I wasn't watching where I was going.
I painted over it with some clear nail-polish to prevent further damage... although retro-active sensibility probably doesn't really count. >_>
SEMI-DANGEROUS FAIL FOR THE WIN.
Well, this is why we have thumbnails.
... Darwin just forgot that part.
But mom got me a non-stick pan to use (she's against the non-stick stuff, as, you know, they've said more than once that it can kill you... in some way), so it turned out BEAUTIFULLY and didn't stick to the pan in horribly ugly chunks.
Admittedly, I'm not exactly one for non-stick pans myself, but for tortilla making, IT IS A NECESSITY.
In other news.
Looking at the VAMPS PVs.. I dunno, Hyde seems, to me, like he's trying to portray a younger image. Deny his (popularity's) mortality, like. I mean, he's all sexy-vampired up with a ridiculous open shirt and everything, and really just trying too hard in general. (He still dances like a girl though.)
Anyone else getting this? Anyone at all...?
Come on, BUCK-TICK hasn't resorted to silly mind-tricks to keep the fans thinking they're young and nimble! We all saw Atsushi fall off the speaker, after all.
AND he looked pretty damn hot in his vest-over-shirt ensemble.
... this is not to say I condemn shirtless rock-stars, I personally agree with Kyo's recent philosophy and believe the man should never wear a shirt again. Because... ABS.
... BUT I DIGRESS.
I'll just stop now and watch some Lupin for nostalgia's sake.
(Also, I can't seem to find my Cowboy Bebop movie DVD... this is troubling.)
