Quick update.
I am, as of December, now a provisionally passed candidate for the MEXT scholarship.
Which means that, bar any horrible circumstances (which the consulate states that they've yet to see happen), I am going back to Kyoto. As a research student. For free. For 18-24 months. Either in April or September.
Damn. Straight.
Three-ish months of application woes, five months of getting over being an alternate, and ten days of BUH? Why... why... yes, I will take it, thank you!
WHY MUST YOU FUCK WITH MY EMOTIONS, JAPAN.
Now, the only question is, do I feel secure enough to start withdrawing those twelve grad school applications yet... Urgh. >_>
