I think it is about time I revealed the results of my older polls. I would be interested in hearing people's thoughts on them.
The poll I wish to address just now is my poll on the length of time people have been in the City.
At the time of the poll the results were as follows:
20.9% had been here for less than a month.
17.9% had been here for two to three months.
13.4% had been here for three to four months.
3.0% had been here for four to five months.
7.5% had been here for five to six months.
7.5% had been here for six to seven months.
4.5% had been here for seven to eight months.
1.5% had been here for eight to nine months.
1.5% had been here for nine to ten months.
6.0% had been here for ten to eleven months.
7.5% had been here for eleven to twelve months.
9.0% had been here for over a year.
This poll was conducted on 2007-08-22 by the City calendar.
According to my calculations, 67 people responded. That is not a very good population sample to work with but it will have to do.
The results indicate a dramatic decrease between "three to four" months and "four to five" months. A decrease of 10.4 % which means that the first few months spent here in the City may be something of a "trial" for Citizens. As if the City rejects those it decides are unworthy to be here. The percentages climb up again at a steady trend at the ten month mark, so I suppose those of you who truly have been here this long are at home with the fact that you are in the City and, thus, see no reason not to respond to my polls.
Thoughts on this?
