Blue leine

I officially finished my blue leine. Mom got the serger repaired and I whipped through the rest of the seems that needed finishing. It took about 10 minutes total. I even hand washed it today. Congratulations on finishing it! :D
I'm eager to see it, will you be wearing it to any upcoming events in the next few months?

No. It's really camping garb. I wore it half-finished to Hare last year, which was a bad thing to have done on both counts.

I am sorry that you will not be able to do any camping this season but go you on finishing the project!

I know that it's silly and petty to think that it was a waste of time. I'm just out of sorts that every camping event this summer has moved dates or is too expensive or otherwise inaccessible to me. I started this last summer to wear to Pennsic this summer.

But it was not a waste of time, you now have a lovely new piece of garb. You spent time putting together something you wanted and you completed the task. That is worth celebrating.

I loved Helen's idea of doing Pennsic every other year. I don't seem to get bothered when I miss a year of Pennsic (like 2002 after I went in 2001 or 2006 after I went in 2004 and 2005). I do get out of sorts when I miss a second year in a row (like 2003 and this year).

Pennsic 2008 sounds like a plan!
