Card weaving
I've spent a hour and a half on this project this week with little to show for it.
Wednesday - One trip to the wool store - bought a ball of dark grey wool. Isabella approves of the colour, but I didn't buy enough and she wouldn't/couldn't help me get started threading the cards until I got more wool.
Friday - second trip to the wool store. Two more balls purchases, same colour number, same dye lot.
Saturday - unproductive 15 minute search for Isabella's cardweaving notes. Spent 30 minutes winding yarn onto spindle thing to do the cross-ways part.
Net gain at the end of 90 minutes - 3 balls of yarn, one spindle with yarn on it, no notes, no threaded cards. At this rate, my belt will done sometime in the year 2008. :(
