just horrible
So I just got an email.........a guy that was in my platoon in basic was in Afganistan with a few of the others that were with us in training. It is really bad in the area where they are fighting from what I understand.
He killed himself.
20-22 years old, nice boy, blond and blue, pretty quiet, but very sarcastic and funny when he did talk.
Usually, when I think about being deployed, the only thing that ever crosses my mind is leaving home for so long, and Harry and how I will change and stuff. I have never actually had a feeling of fear about the war. Today, for the first time, i really did. We are on an open window for deployment until March. I wish it was April.
