Tackey & Tsubasa held the final stage of their nation tour “Takitsubasai” (3 cities, 9 stages) at Yokohama Arena on November 7th. This tour was held after two and a half years away since the last live concert they held as a unit. They performed a total of 32 songs, including their upcoming single “Ai wa Takaramono (Love is Treasure)”, which will be released on November 24th.
At the concert, Imai Tsubasa talked about his birthday present from Takizawa Hideaki. According to Tsubasa, he was told to come to the Tokyo Dome for an interview for a magazine, but it was actually his birthday party. When he entered the Dome, there was a message saying “Happy Birthday” on the screen, and Takizawa, the staff, and other friends showed up in baseball uniforms. It was a secret baseball game for Tsubasa, and Takizawa reserved the Tokyo Dome just to play the baseball game. Takizawa said, “It was for him (Tsubasa) because he loves baseball, and I wanted to make it big since this is the last year of his 20s.” Tsubasa answered, “He (Takizawa) is my treasure. I want to keep showing us off as a ‘love-love’ couple.”
For this tour (every stage), lucky fans who won the lottery thorough pre-ordering their upcoming single at the concert, were invited to the back stage after the live, and those fans were able to take photos with Tackey & Tsubasa, and got handshakes from them.
There was an announcement that a DVD of the nation tour will be released in January 2011, and they also stated that they will release an album next year. So you will be able to see more of “Tackey & Tsubasa” as a unit in 2011, not their solo works like last couple of years!
