spider-man 2 is such a great movie. it won't win any oscars this year which is a shame because it damn well deserves some more recognition...you know, besides being one of the highest grossing movies of all time. i think LOTR return of the king made something crazy like 1 billion dollars worldwide. that's fucked up, but it tells me i'm getting into the right business. anyway, i think sm2 could rival for best film of the year. i think sam raimi really shows his brilliance in it. the character arc is so perfect and the story is amazing. anyway, enough of that....but seriously, you could live your life based on quotes from that movie.
it's 5:20 and i'm up still writing on here again. i worked out (while watching spider-man 2), and now i'm watching espnews. life check anyone? yeah, for real. i'm a dork, but i'm still cooler than you.
this just in..i found a chart listing the all-time highest grossing worldwide box office movies (is that a sentence?). titanic is #1 with 1,835,300,000. that's almost 2 billion bucks in BOX OFFICE sales alone. jesus christ, and they say home video and merchandising is where they really make the money. it'd be crazy to see what those figures are at. spider-man 2 is at #15 currently with $783,577,893. the only other 2 films that came out in 2004 and grossed higher in the box office are harry potter and the prisoner of azkaban, and shrek 2....you know what, just take the god damn link....

[edit] upon further inspection, every single film that m. night shyamalan has written/directed is on that list. just thought it was interesting. hell even stuart little's on there, for which he did the screenplay for reasons unknown.
i'm going to bed, i have a final in either 3 1/2 or 7 1/2 hours (i can't be expected to remember which).
