Just when I had believed I completely rid myself of Hyde, he returns, and in a form most disturbing!

I had thought his taunting was just that, for there was no evidence of their...encounter. I have been told that others know, though why has such a thing been kept from me? Perhaps because of the reaction I had to her when I did find out the truth. I pleaded to her to rid of the child before it could come to term, and yet my words fell upon deaf ears.

As I write this, my hand trembles and my stomach curdles with sickness for I know what I must do. This...thing cannot survive, not with the genes of its sire. I do not wish to betray Liza in such a manner, though I do know it will be justified in the end. It is better she loses the child now than be slain by its hand when it's old enough to wield a knife. I have little doubts that it will become a murderer, and if not so, that it will not be completely sane. Its temper will be astounding, and lust for depravity fearful. She believes that her good will balance out his evil, though I know the truth. How I wished to explain, and yet I could not bring myself to do so. The concoction is already created, she only needs to be subjected to it.

Along with this disturbing news, I have come to find, in first hand, that this house is truly alive. I was told of it becoming quite hot, enough where the inhabitants had to flee lest they be boiled alive, though I had not been subjected to this rise in temperature. It was not the heat that drove us out this time, but the mansion shrinking. Yet, from the outside, it retained its normal shape! This phenomenon cannot be explained no better than the many other strange things that has happened. This leads me to the books that are in my possession. As disturbing as the images and words are, I have been reading them over time. Perhaps I can glean information concerning this strange mansion.
