Everyone should know about recent occurrences - the kidnappings and burials. If it hasn't been stated formally one of the perpetrators has been caught. Now the complicated matter begins ( Read more... )

Either operate fully above the radar, or fully below it. Pick one. You -- and the interested parties -- can't have both.

The compound needs to be aware of this, it affects everyone and the lifestyle of this place. It's not so extreme of a choice as one ultimate or the other.

Your suggested trial is merely the symptom.

If the Alliance wishes to govern this place, then there needs to be transparency. When they pick and choose the things they feel are appropriate to let others know about -- when they decide which matters should become public, and which they should hide from the knowledge of the general public -- then they will gain the trust of no one. I say this in warning, as both a supporter off the cause they represent and as an ally to several who are active members -- a known conspiracy of the self-chosen elite will lead only to further unrest, not peace.

This isn't about a power struggle - this isn't about the Alliance wanting to control anything. The Alliance and others did what they thought, what we thought was needed to help the situation. Now we're at a point where everyone should be involved and have a say as this matter affects everyone who lives here.

We have a man guilty of crimes against the compound at large. It's not the Alliance's place to decide how he should ultimately be dealt with, nor is it any other single group or entity's. I understand what you're saying but that's not the point of this and we have to be careful not to make it the point. Things are too emotionally charged to play with who holds what power.

I suggest you review what you have just said, and then start paying more attention to what is being said by others. You seem to be a good man, and what you are attempting here may well be right; I don't disagree with that.

The Alliance's execution of this execution, however, leaves something to be desired. Whether or not you want it to, that will become the point.

I know what I said, it seems I hit some political undercurrent I hadn't known was in place. I don't know the history of the alliance, the history of this place, but I do know what's happening now and the effect certain courses of action would have on the state of affairs.

The Alliance shouldn't be the ones making a decision so major, it should be the compound as a whole. That is the point.

I applaud your sincerity, though I cannot agree.

Expediency would have been the better route for the Alliance to take concerning justice in this matter. That will no longer be an option for them in the future now that you've raised the curtain.
