[an amused chuckle] Shakespeare huh? It brings me back highschool english. I'm not sure if that's a good thing but the gift is certainly appreciated. It wasn't you was it Cissie? After our conversation about the Bard it seems possible.

Thanksgiving already. [a pause] Happy holidays. I wonder- [a startled shifting] What the-

Someone gave you Shakespeare? ::laughs:: I'd love to take credit for that, but sadly I can't. Maybe you have a secret admirer... [teasing]

Happy Thanksgiving--are you going to Dick's later?

...Mouse?

[OOC: Happy Thanksgiving! ♥ And how about we pretend Cissie saw this before she found out about Kon and Robin--she certainly won't be this cheerful after that... (If that's all right with you!)]

[amused] Nothing says unrequited affection like some Hamlet after all. So it wasn't you or Wayne? [a pause] Hm.

Ah, he's having a dinner right? I don't want to intrude.

[half bemused, half lost] It's- it looks like a stuffed animal, besides the animation.

[ooc: lol no prob at all, it'd make the conversation brighter. Have a good day ♥ ]

Nothing except maybe Macbeth? [laughs] No, sorry, not me.

He is! And you wouldn't be intruding--I guess a lot of people are coming; Quatre is bringing a bunch of people, too.

...Weird! It moves?

Well his couples don't normally have the best outcomes I've come to find.

[a pause] Well maybe then. I certainly don't have any other plans. It'd be nice given the circumstances.

[bemused] It's... curious alright. I'm not sure what to do about it.

That's certainly true. Of course, I always thought Romeo and Juliet were idiots, but that might be just me.

It'll be nice, I think. (Honestly, all the bitching and moaning about it on the PDAs has been annoying me. Why shouldn't we take a few hours to eat too much food and make the most of being stuck here? It's Thanksgiving--it's not going to hurt anyone! I really don't get what's so offensive about it.)

Huh. ...It's not alive or anything, right?

[a laugh] They were idiots for the sake of drama at least. I'm more of an Othello or Macbeth fan myself, I'll stick to the political betrayal plots and what not.

[chuckling] I agree. I can't say thanksgiving is my favorite time regardless but what can we do? Stick at home and moan about it? We should try to make the best of it, maybe for a little while it'll feel like home. That sounds like enough incentive to me.

It's.. alive alright. It's like a walking stuffed animal- er, crawling.

[laughing again] There's a shocker--the DA likes the political dramas? I'm more of a fan of the comedies, myself. If I had to pick a favorite, I think I'd say Much Ado About Nothing--"Thou and I are too wise to woo peaceably." Though I think the best line award goes to A Winter's Tale, for the stage direction--"Exit, pursued by a bear."

Yes, exactly. Thanksgiving's never been much back home either, but tonight should be fun. And who can say no to turkey and pie, anyway?

That's... odd. Never a dull moment, huh?

[amused] Any political drama I was not a part of I can enjoy. [laughing] Good tastes, you know your comedies. If you ever want to borrow some of this feel free- 'Taming of the Shrew' has been amusing enough so far. I've always been a fan of Oscar Wilde's humor myself, not enough to quote them just yet.

[another laugh] No one with a soul could refuse a good pumpkin pie. I think we'll manage well enough.

That's for sure. At least it was a harmless surprise, right?

Well, that is understandable enough! And thanks. I have to admit, the only thing I know about 'Taming of the Shrew' is that '10 Things I Hate About You' is based on it! And I pretty much exhausted my quoting powers, so consider me done showing off. Although I did play Romeo freshman year. (It's a long story, but it boils down to an all-girls' school and the fact that I was tallest.)

Oo, how about chocolate cream pies?

[laughs] True enough!

That's right, the First Lieutenant. Yeah, uh, something like that, I guess. I think Otogi made it for her. He does weird magic stuff.

...Anyway, it looks like she found you.

[torn between mild confusion and amusement] Well... at least it- she wasn't lost then.

[recovering a bit] I seem to have forgotten my manners. I'm Harvey Dent, thank you for the information. I'll try to get this back to the lieutenant asap.

[amused at his obvious bemusement] Yeah, I know. It's weird, isn't it?

Nice to make your acquaintance, Mr. Dent... or do you prefer Harvey~? I'm Faye Valentine.
