Our attic (and whole upper floor) is finally completely rewired, and insulated. It's even got a nice little floor platform for storing boxes! It's so cute. All pink and clean. Or as clean as any unfinished attic can ever be anyway. And Gerry says his upstairs room is staying the same temperature as the rest of the house now. Yay! I'm now going to work very hard to forget that it was my least favorite home improvement project *ever*.
Buuuuuut, it took so much longer than I kept hoping it would. We didn't finish it until Thursday at about 10pm. Which meant I didn't get to even finish ripping DVDs for my
seasonal_spuffy vid until yesterday. o_O I'm about halfway through it right now, and I'm clearly stalling. Come gentle readers, and help me stall as we see what I have in my favor for getting it done in time...
IN MY FAVOR
--Been thinking about the vid idea for a couple of years now, so the tough thinky parts are mostly done.
--Avisynth has made it possible for me to combine all of the chapters I ripped into two .avs files, one for each season I'm using, that Premiere is actually playing nice with. (omg please don't jinx me now)
--Did I mention no clipping? ::is still giddy::
--I almost have half of it done, and it's actually been cooperating fairly well up till now.
--I did most of Proud over a day and a half. Oh, right. And then a bunch of my hair fell out.
Now, what do I have standing in my way of getting this done, and keeping it the vid I've been wanting to see for forever...
REASONS I MAY TOTALLY BIFF IT
--It's already the 4th!
--I'm only halfway done. And it's only cooperated ok so far.
--I clearly have to give up my pipe dreams of getting to do the beta thing.
--I'm wasting precious time making pointless lists in my LJ instead of laying down clips.
--I don't want my hair to fall out more...
::gets dragged away screaming by little viddy claws::
