Welcome to Zoology Lab 101, er... supper, everyone...

Lily and Boo Boo are running on Squrrl!Power now. I'm a dork and like that it sounds like Grrl!Power but isn't. Heh. And that's all the detail I'll force upon anyone who isn't married to me. People who are married to me, however, are screwed. Although I wish talking about feeding my pets didn't qualify as gross so often. It can be really fascinating once that hurdle/mountain is crossed. ;} Sasha's dinner tonight for example. It involved a mouse. And her odd way of eating them.

Anywhooo... I'm majorly avoidy lately. I'm avoiding work right now! Look ma, no hands! ::headdesk::

So I shall do a meme. And if I'm still avoidy later...good god, I'm so avoidy that I'm avoiding the list of things I could possibly do to avoid other things I could possibly do. ::gives up::

The Secrets & Shame Meme

1) Which actor do you secretly think is a hottie?
Brock Samson. Heh. The first time I saw him, Gerry turned to me five minutes into the show and said, "You think he's hot don't you?" I said, "Uhm...god...no." My crush has tempered itself with time, but I still giggle way too much at his jokes. I may also be able to use Molotov Cocktease as an answer here. ;D

2) Which singer musician do you secretly lust after?
Once upon a time I had a big crush on Billy Corgan. Then he just kept crankin' up the weirdness. And I even like weirdness.

3) The TV show you secretly loved?
The Young Riders. My crush on Jimmy was ridiculous, and I was known to (in my own defense, very *rarely*) dress up in a cowboy outfit to watch it.

4) Which horrible movie did you love anyway?
The original (1974) Gone in 60 Seconds. The acting by the people is sooooo bad, but the car chase that makes up most of the movie is like sweet, sweet ambrosia. ::loves on Eleanor::

5) Which really bad song do you secretly love?
"In the Year 2525" - Zager and Evans. I'm not sure singing along to it at the top of my lungs is helping to keep my secret though...

6) That thing you are ashamed you were too scared to do?
In 5th grade a wrote a song about a couple of horses, and I was going to sing it in the school talent show. I got up on stage for auditions, stood in front of the microphone, and then chickened out. I can still sing it. But it's a song about two horses and it includes the words "like a North Dakota sunset", so really, I don't think my life would have been that much better if I'd tried to sing that in competition against the awesome Paula Abdul lip-synch-routine-ing abilities of my classmates.

7) The thing you were to afraid to ask your parents?
"Uhm, dad, is it ok that when I was driving the brand new pick-up truck your friend left here for the week I ran the side of it into Gerry's Wildcat when I came home and was trying to turn the monsterous thing into the driveway?" Ask Gerry. I was the biggest scaredest mass of hystericalness ever. So, once I could breathe again, I avoided the whole issue by calling the friend (who is affectionately known by our family as Weird Chad) on his cell phone and telling him what I did. He told me not to tell my dad. Then when he came back to town, and my dad delivered his truck to him, he accused my dad of putting the dent in it. And to make it even better, he made like a $1000 bucks off of the insurance money for getting it fixed by having a friend of his do the work. *Yes*, my dad knows the truth now.

Oddly enough, this was not the first time someone called me with happiness in their voice after I damaged their car.

8) The sappy secret pet name you gave someone/something?
I call Lily, Liddy Biddy. And like umpteen other things that I can't spell because they aren't real words. I've also been known to call Gerry, Gerry Bear, just because they rhyme and sound goofy.

9) The thing you did in the name of fandom, that you are embarrassed to admit?
Drew a picture of Jimmy from TYR, framed it, set it on the shelf my bed, and occasionally had discussions with it or begged it for Jimmy dreams. I'm thinking that was more in the name of craziness than fandom. :P (For the record: All Jimmyness occurred in and around junior high. Josh Brolin just looks kinda wierd now.)

10) The really big secret that no one knows, but you wish they did?
That I enjoy dreaming way too much. If everyone knew, maybe they'd stop telling me I can't spend the rest of my life in bed. ::pulls covers over head to hide from hungry cats::

Now, I gave no tagging hints whatsoever this time. Someday you will all learn that I'm really on your side. If your name is ad_kay, writteninstars, the_larch, pastelstar, or missmurchison, (and you see this), you must do this meme or...your left pinky toe will whither away and fall off. Just sayin'.
