It only took four days, but I think we finally managed to patch the leak in the air mattress. This really shouldn't have been so difficult. It's a plastic bag that just has to hold air. Patching my waterbed was never this much trouble. :P

Congrats on defeating the Crevice of Doom! I had a sneaking suspicion that air beds are evil.

Step 4 brings back macabre memories of inflatable summer camp beds. Grr-Argh.

Oh yes. They're evil. I always thought waterbeds were sort of evil, luring you in with the warmth and then burning your ass unexpectedly in the middle of the night. But compared to airbeds, they are soft fuzzy kittens of unevilness.

this makes me feel more friendly towards my ancient traditional mattress. At least it's never put me through this routine!

I'm watching adult swim right now with my daughter, but I don't understand a blessed thing. I'm afraid to say anything, because she might explain it to me.

Yeah, well, in the spirit of spring cleaning, we tossed our old mattress during Clean-Up Week. Doh!

And Saturday night Adult Swim, that's prime cartoon watching! :D

You poor thing! You handled that much better than I would have. I would have been demanding to go to a hotel after the first four hours. I'm a cranky old thing if I don't have a comfy place to sleep.

I had to take a picture of her, because as soon as the bed was deflated, she went and curled up like she wasn't just laying on the floor. Silly kitty. :)

hmmmm, thanks for the tips! :P I too have an evil air mattress with a leak that I must patch. I've only blown that stupid thing up like 15 times and it already sprung a leak.

Hehe. Well if you can find the leak the important part seems to be lots and lots of glue. ;P

Hmmm...well, I can't deny that I enjoy having the whole bed to myself in the morning when he leaves for school or work...
