He should say something stupid to try to make Leo smile. Or to stop Leo worrying about him at least. Leo has enough to worry about he doesn't need to worry about Mikey too

[Leo puts his hand on Mikey's shoulder. No matter what Mikey said, Leo would worry. It was the only thing he could do at the moment that felt some what useful.

It wasn't as though he could go out and search for his brothers. He knew where they were, and that he couldn't get to them.]

You know Don's going to be alright and Raph's to stubborn to let the Tribunal do anything to him.

....I never apologised to Don. [As if that's important now. Yet it's the only coherent thought in his head right at the moment, his brothers are gone and the last thing he did with one of them was fight. And they're gone.]

This happens a lot here...and the worse part about it is, we can't do anything about it.

We're lucky, we know they're going home to something better.

No, it doesn't.

[Yeah, he's kind of tanking on the whole comfort thing but he can't lie to his brothers. Especially not about something like this. After a moment, Leo puts his hand on the top of Mikey's shell.]

It doesn't get easier either.

[Mikey leans on Leo, the hand on his shell helps a lot ... that doesn't stop him poking Leo though.]

You know you could like about that. A little comforting white lie wouldn't go a miss right now.
