I've never heard of a Memory shrine before.

But it sounds a little bit like Prydain's memory wall at Gohl.

She said that's where she got the idea so it would be the same.

Only this has a more physical approach to it.

There must be people she doesn't want to forget about either.

I have a lot of things like that. I keep the things that people have left behind in a box in my closet.

I think that's true for a lot of people here. Or the majority at least.

Does it help?

It's the same for me too.

A little. I don't have as many things as people that I want to remember. But they help me think of certain memories.

I think for me too.

That sounds like it would work a little better. A single thing that reminds you of many people and anything you did with them.

It doesn't even have to be something they left behind. But something from this city.

There's a tree in the park that Pit and I climbed up once. I like to go back and see it sometimes.

Like the rooftops.

[That sort of thing though probably had more to do with him then the people he met up there.]

I understand.

I don't want to lose track of those kinds of memories. They're very important to me.

I almost lost them when I was brought back to Discedo, but Chocobo helped me find them again.

[What was worse? To forget, or be forgotten?]

That's...horrible, Nill. I'm glad you could remember.

It made me very sad, and it was very scary and confusing at first. ...I didn't like it at all.

I was lucky.

I'm not sure I can imagine what it would be like.

At least someone here has a bit of luck.

I hope that never happens to you, Leonardo.

You don't think you have very good luck?

Not...usually.

At least not the kind of luck that would make things easier for us.

Oh. I'm sorry.

[She's had a few days that were like that too.]

You don't have to be; after eighteen years, it would be weird to lose it.
