You know just what you want to do
Thanks for all the comments I got about Nany. I know I appreciated them. I didn't give another update on her though. When the doctors went in Tuesday night, they discovered that the oncoming appendicitis had caused some of her colon to rot. Niiiiiice. So they had to get that out too, making the operation twice as long. Pappy was so worried; no one came out to tell him what was going on until it was all over. Anyways, she'll be in the hospital until sometime tomorrow, I think.
Mom & I started The South Beach Diet on Tuesday. We would have started Monday, but we were still missing some the stuff we needed. So far, so good. I'm not seeing any results yet, but I'll let ya'll know if it's working or not. :) You're supposed to lose 8-10 lbs. if you do it right.
I finally played softball. And what I mean by that is, the church has softball every Tuesday from 6PM to 8PM (during the summer). I never played until Tuesday. I found out that, much to my surprise, I still got it. I can't throw a ball to save my life, but I can still hit & catch. I didn't practice at all beforehand, but one of the guys there commented, "She's been practicing!" Wheee! I was surprised how much fun I had. I'll probably end up playing every time now. But I'm so sore now! My arm, abs & legs are all sore. Proves just how out of shape I am though.
Starting to really look forward to going down to Georgia. I need some time off! Plus I need some contact with people I don't see on a regular basis. :)
Last night, as I was heading upstairs to go to bed, I was disgusted to find two slugs on the kitchen counter. So I got Josh, and he put them outside. Such a good little man. ;) But we can't figure out just how they got in the house in the first place. So ick.
mukawalka made a post yesterday that was really good. So I direct you over to his journal, and when you read it, pretend I'm writing it as well. LOL
