I wanna be the wind that fills your sails...

Well, it's been a while since I posted anything worthwhile here. So let's get started.

Had the Holy Days about two weeks ago. Church, was to say the least, a little awkward for reasons I won't expand upon here. But I got over it quickly enough and overall had an enjoyable Feast. But I still want my pocketknife back! I wish I'd have taken some pictures, but every day I forgot my camera!

My mom's birthday was April 22 (she's 48 years old, but she's looks a lot younger than that) so me & Josh (mukwalka) treated her to the Cheesecake Factory four days before her actual birthday due to the fact her birthday is on a Friday and we wouldn't have been able to take her then. Oooh, so yummy. If I could afford it, I would be eating there every night. I had the Herb-Crusted Fillet Of Salmon, Mom had the Chicken Madeira & Josh had the Ranch House Burger. The cheesecake slices we took home were Craig's Crazy Carrot cheesecake, Kahlua Cocoa Coffee cheesecake & Adam's Peanut Butter Cup Fudge Ripple cheesecake. All in all, sooooo yummy. But we had to eat the cheesecake before DUB started; the crust was a graham cracker crust. But it was good while it lasted.

On April 26, me, Josh & Joey (illvatari) saw Kung-Fu Hustle. That is a great movie! It was so funny! Then afterwards, we all went to the Happy Garden for dinner. I am never going back there again. You pay $7.50 for the buffett, and it's all crap. Plus, the best thing to eat is the sugar rolls but we couldn't eat them because they had leavening in them! So, no more Happy Garden for me.

Dad told me the other day that one of his clients (he's a landscaper & owns his own company "Total Tree & Lawn Care") offered him use of a condo at Myrtle Beach completely free, whenever he wanted to use it. So now he's trying to get use time to use it in the beginning of June. *meep!* I can't wait to go! I so need some time away! :)

Last Saturday night, me, Mom, Sharon, Devon, Lacey, Kristy & Tara went to see The Interpreter. I wouldn't really recommend it. It's kind of a slow movie, plus it's kinda depressing. The two main characters had sucky lives, and moped about them the entire movie.

Jeff won at Talladega! Dale Jr. has been evicted from "his house" & Jeff is the new tenant! Yeah, that was cheese-tastic. Sorry LOL But three wins in nine races. That's pretty damn good.

Me & Kristy had lunch on Monday this week. We went to this restaurant on Lake Wylie neither of us had been to called T-bones. We sat out on the deck overlooking the lake. I got a mushroom-and-swiss burger (mmm, hamburgers...) and Kristy had a buffalo chicken salad. She completely forgot the fact that it was going to be spicy, so she wasn't able to finish it. Hope Chris enjoyed the leftovers. Kristy ended up paying for my meal too, which was very nice of her. I wasn't even expecting it! I must have thanked her about half a dozen times on the way home LOL.

I went out & bought The Phantom Of The Opera the day it came out. I actually went to three stores before finding the SE. The other two had only the regular edition. I had to pay $24 for that SE! Grr... It's worth it though :)

Yesterday was mukwalka's 18th birthday. Gah, he's getting so old! LOL Anyways, I finally got to give him the gift I'd been praying he wouldn't buy for two weeks: a ticket to the midnight showing of Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge Of The Sith. I actually bought two tickets, but I have the other one. It's gonna be so awesome!

Oh, and superfarmertan, don't give up on the fairer sex! We're not all bad. :) Generally speaking.

Our poor kitty is sick. Trip has something wrong with his bladder where his urine has some sort of crystals in it, causing him a lot of pain when he pees. We have him on a food the vet gave us to help balance out the PH levels & antibiotics. Plus, we have to make sure that when he goes in the litter he actually pees. If he goes in half a dozen times & does nothing, it could actually mean he's gotten clogged up. And that could kill him.

Well, I'm outie for now. Call the cell if ya really wanna talk to me. Otherwise... buzz off! LOL Later, ya'll!
