Ian's really helping out now! And his mom loves a good romance and a mystery... UNIT's now going to catch wind of this.

I love a good thunderstorm (as long as I'm inside), and it sounds like Donna had a nice little corner to sneak her Shakespeare reading. Peter's right, though, Shakespeare is meant to be done out loud, either reading the poetry or performing the plays. No wonder so many students can't understand it; they just read the words with no expression, memorizing bits and pieces. If they knew half of what they were reading in some of his plays and the double meanings, they'd be blushing!

That extra treat is exactly what I'm talking about. Listening to the cadences, the expression in the voice, the rage at some points.... gives meaning to the words. There's a vast difference between mere recitation and really reading. It was wonderful!

Part of Donna's brilliance is her feeling that she should always be learning new things and broadening her horizons. If it helps her have more things in common with Peter, that's even better, as long as she's doing it for herself as well.
