Oh, dear. The case takes a twist. I'm not sure he can keep Donna out of it. This could be a problem for him with his colleagues.

But I'm loving the growing banter between our couple. He had that health lecture coming eventually, so I suppose dinner will be a bit better for him than he might otherwise have chosen. :D Aw, they are so cute, and clearly driving each other wild with the waiting. That might be a good thing - go a few dates without and then go crazy together. ;)

Ah, and Alec knows. Will he ask or snoop first? Very curious to know! :D

Get some rest. Take care of yourself. Muse doesn't do so well when you're not rested, as I've found out.

Ah, I can always count on your comments to let me know if I'm headed in the right direction and if my characters are behaving as anticipated...And if I might just mention, crazy is coming soon.

;-)

Seriously, all the feedback has helped me immensely and I appreciate it.

I'm really enjoying this story! :-) I'm always a sucker for when writers use a character where DT has his Scottish accent!

I'm trying to write the accent- with varying degrees of success- so let me know when it gets out of hand. And I swear, some days I don't want this to ever end, as I can hear Peter's dialog in my mind so clearly, it's like having him standing behind me, whispering in my ear. Not exactly an enticement to bring the story to a conclusion, I must admit, but as I've got the entire story outlined now, it's only a matter of time. Again, I need to have my sanity checked- my first published story, and it looks as though it may be close to 30 parts before the conclusion.... but that means I'm a third of the way finished!

It hasn't gotten out of hand for me :-) Granted, I'm an American and I have no clue when a written accent goes outside of what's considered "normal".

This is your first story? That's incredible! I don't have the courage to write anything and if I did, I wouldn't get anywhere CLOSE to 30 parts.

Keep it coming! You're doing amazing work! :-)

I absolutely love this! The two of them are absolutely adorable together. I smiled like a lunatic throughout the whole thing! I adore David's Scottish accent, so that made me very happy. I am really looking forward to more! Don't make me wait to long!

I love their banter so much; it gives me such fluffy feels...and I'm excited to see how Alec uses his powers of observation against the less-cultured of the constabulary.

Good on Peter for realizing not all criminals are alike, and for having some appreciation of graffiti (I realize it's a bit anarchist, but some of it is quite beautiful).

This:
He would escort her to her door and leave her safely on the threshold with a single, heart-wrenchingly perfect kiss before turning and melting into the night.
Sounds perfect and I think I'll sit and fantasize about it for a while! (Even though I should do work and not get distracted, but GUH!)
