I've already told you most of my observations but I agree with everyone about Eleven's obsession. I have a question, though. Does this take place in his timeline before or after the departure of the Ponds? If it's after, then some of it makes sense.

I will reiterate that you have captured Eleven to an absolute T, both speech patterns and mannerisms. I had a hard time finding his voice the one time I wrote for him. He's an odd duck, but a distinctively odd duck (or should that be giraffe?) Kudos to you.

I don't think Donna will rip him a new one OR physically assault him. I think her innate compassion and remembered affection for Ten will mitigate her reaction, and she will simply feel sorry for him. She will understand his feeling and desire for her to travel with him, but will gently refuse, but offer the possibility of friendship. Which neither the Doctor not Peter will be happy with, each for their own reasons. This is MY opinion. I await the outcome YOUR Muse will devise.

And we are here because this story is freakin' AWESOME!!!

I agree Donna is compassionate (as I said above), but when the Doctor gets really out of line, she did give him a slap to stop his train of thought and get him back to reality. She will probably at this point refuse to travel with him, at least on a long-term basis, although she had promised to stay with him "forever." The question is, will the Doctor agree to her terms? If he is stupid about it and demands all or nothing, then nothing is what he will get. Peter, once he realizes the situation, might be willing (if not happy) to have them resume their friendship.... but only if the Doctor stops his obsessive behavior. If he sees that the Doctor will be a danger to Donna, he will not allow Donna to be harmed. End of story!

So the Doctor needs to change his behavior if he is to have any hope.
