Think of al the sweetly 'shippy "he might, but she doesn't, or does she?" fics you've ever read, then factor in a heaping helping of "they're both floundering about with the biggest case of denial the universe has ever seen but just wait cos it's inevitable if they spend enough time together" stories, then add a mighty dash of "we're only being snarky to keep from snogging each other silly" drabbles, stir vigorously with a healthy addition of plot involving Wilf, a character we've just recently been introduced to and an OC who your feelings for change abruptly mid-story and this is the BEST PIECE OF FANFIC MASQUERADING AS A BOOK I'VE EVER SEEN.

Now just imagine that I said that hugely rambling run-on declaration aloud, whilst dancing about and pointing to blatantly obvious passages every few pages. I could quote - I could!!! But it will ruin it for you.

Still not convinced? Need/Want proof? Serenity'sLady and I were up until the wee hours, each reading our own, individual, Amazon-straight-to-our-doorsteps copies and texting page numbers only back and forth and squeeing.

Go. Read. Then come back and we'll start sharing all the DD love. I may buy a dozen copies and randomly leave them all over the place at Gallifrey One next year.

Ah...it's an actual book? *googles* *Double Ah* Jenny Colgan, I could tell from the author notes in the audiobook she's a shipper, LOL. Am ordering it now. Crikey, not cheap is it?! Guess it has been too long since I spent money on an actual physical book instead of just kindle!
