Oh, my, that was some row they had! Both too stubborn to back down, even when realizing they should. They put on some show for the office, didn't they ( ... )

The fight was painful to write, but I just couldn't stop. They both kept dancing around and it kept me up at night, hearing them go at each other in my head. This was literally the first part I've ever written that I was relieved to finish. The consolation is going to be the makeup scene, but there's a bit more drama to come first, and I bet you already know who's to blame for that.

Thanks for taking the time and trouble, as always, to comment on my humble offerings.

Hmmm... that alien with the perception filter is going to cause some more trouble, isn't he? Witnessing that fight couldn't have been easy for him, either, but he must know how stubborn Donna can get, and he has to somewhat understand Peter's protectiveness. After all, isn't that what he's trying to do, too? Both of their overprotective behavior is going to drive Donna batty!

Oh, you think Eleven didn't love seeing the fight? He understands what's going on perfectly- he just doesn't like it much.

The characters completely took over during that row, didn't they? Did they let you escape from their clutches before you needed food (or anything else)? ;) :o

My general response is 'oh, ouch, oh dear, quite the mess'. I hope Peter's able to deliver the item(s) to Donna so they can at least start talking later!

Also, hello there, stalker!Eleven!

Elorie, they grabbed hold and would not let go! Food wasn't a problem here, but sleeping and coherent thought afterwards were. In fact, I think I've got to take a week off and go back and reread what I've written so far so I can move on from here. I've got all my notes together, and I know exactly what's going to happen, but my muse is emotionally fragile after this conflict, so I think she's going on a short vacation. (That and I have to cut the preshow for our fangroup's next Doctor Who Appreciation Night. Ah, the pressures of being a Whovian.)

And yes, Eleven has been quite the stalker here, hasn't he? I soooo see that in his character now, but for the best of reasons. He's so lonely, but so convinced he isn't good for anyone to be around, so in his mind, he has no choice but to sneak around to check on the people he loves. I may have given my heart to Ten but Eleven breaks it every time. (One day, I'm going to have to go back and write the scene where Donna almost foists a puppy onto Sad!Eleven!)

I could tell, though I was quite surprised I could tell! Usually I can't, no matter how much I've read someone. Ha, yeah, I've had sleep & coherency be an issue... as well as using the bathroom, honestly. My muse is a bit the same with going on vacation after emotionally charged things. (How did the preshow go?)

The Doctor has definitely gone that way with Eleven, what with making people think he'd been killed at Lake Silencio, then the hiding bit after, um, can't remember which episode it was, where the blue head is going "Doctor Who?!", and I got the impression again when I watched The Snowmen, like he was lurking about while Vastra screened his calls or something.
