had another call tonight, a medevac, was basically a transport gig. i went to the airport with another crew member to pick up the flight crew who were going to be taking the patient in the airplane. then i watched for a bit as they looked over the patient and then helped load the patient onto the cot and into the ambulance, took them back to the airport and helped load onto the plane. it was interesting and a nice learning experience.
