ee! I <3 dancing. Is there gonna be a video of your dance? I would LOOVE to see it. I've been doing Swing since May, and recently started getting into the rest of Ballroom, I've only been Tangoing for a little while.
I'm not sure if there will bea video... chances are slim, since literally everyone I know is out of state or out of the country this week, so no one will be coming to see me perform *lol*
Next time I have a competition, I'll make sure someone tapes it, deal?
I've been dancing ballroom for... *counts* five years? I transitioned over from years and years of ballet after a bad injury left me unable to dance en pointe. I do all the standard 10 dance, plus I've flirted with Argentine Tango, Lindy Hop, East and West Coast Swing, and Salsa ^_^. I'm primarily a Standard dancer, though--the lines from ballet really come in handy there. So you're most likely to see me doing a waltz, a quickstep (my favorite!!!!!!!), a tango, or a foxtrot. I have done some competing with wins on a state level and last year I went to a national comp... I had to do Latin, though, and it is NOT my strength, so I fell out at semi-finals.
