Most of the famous people I'd like to meet are either dead or I love them *so much* I'd end up looking like a bumbling idiot in front of them.

But I'm fairly certain I could carry an intelligent conversation with Oliver Sacks, 'cause his books have had a presence in my life for as long as I can remember [my mother's a big fan], it's almost like he's the odd uncle, you know? :)
