messrs. k. and h. assure the public their production will be second to none

I should wait until tomorrow for the CW to announce their crap, but I'm impatient, so.

Future TV on my horizon. Described in months instead of seasons because a) looking at time by the seasons is strange and off-putting; and b) the USA terms for "Summer TV" and "Fall TV" are WRONG for me.

June:

. Burn Notice S2 premieres June 4.
. Weeds S5 premieres June 8.
. Kings's missing episodes come back June 13.
. True Blood S2 premieres June 14 [if I ever manage to finish S1, that is].

July:

. The Virtuality pilot airs July 4. Actual show is dead.
. Warehouse 13 -- Jane Espenson's new show on Skiffy -- premieres July 7.
. Eureka S3 FINALLY resumes July 10. TEN MONTHS OF WAITING OMFG.
. Leverage S2 premieres July 15.

2009/2010 season, which begins in late August? September? Sometime around that:

mondays
. returning shows: Big Bang Theory, Castle, Chuck, How I Met Your Mother
. new shows: Day One [eh. Maybe. It sounds like Jericho: The Rehash. But Carly Pope is pretty.]

tuesdays
. returning shows: NCIS
. new shows: NCIS: Los Angeles [mostly because Chris O'Donnell has suddenly become hot again. Who woulda thunk?]

wednesdays
. returning shows: CSI:NY
. new shows: Eastwick, Glee [which is the one new show I'm very excited about; who has watched the pilot 5 times now? o/], Human Target [midseason]

thursdays
. returning shows: Bones, Fringe, Mentalist [omfg this is gonna be CHEESE NIGHT]
. new shows: Flash Forward [which is probably gonna SUCK A LOT, but it's Joe Fiennes + John Cho + Jack Davenport, so I'm there]

fridays
. returning shows: Dollhouse, Numbers, Ugly Betty
. come October: Stargate: Universe probably premieres Oct. 2; Sanctuary S2 probably premieres Oct. 9.

.

So far nothing for the weekend, which I appreciate very much. And there's also the V remake, which no one even knows whether it's a serialized show or a miniseries or whatnot, nor when it's gonna air. The trailer looks as ridiculously ominous as expected, but it's by far the prettiest cast ever assembled.

Also, WHAT IS IT with the three billion new medical/paramedics/nurses/hospital dramas? Seriously, is this just because ER ended? Do people think they need to OVERFILL the gap? GAH.

Also also: FOX aired a rest-of-the-season type trailer for Glee, which is very very spoilery, so proceed with caution. AND! The cast performing Somebody to Love at the upfronts. The awesomeness, it is endless, oh yes, oh sweet alliteration YES.

.

I'll edit this tomorrow when the CW announces their lineup, 'cause I'm kinda interested in the teen vamp show. [I KNOW!]

...

I have one Dreamwidth invite left, anyone interested?

Also, I've been trying to find everyone in my LJ flist over at DW, so if I missed you, please tell me where's your journal there? This is much appreciated. :)
