Coincidences are funny. All day yesterday I was mentally writing an LJ entry about Dreamwidth, and how excited I am about it, and how I truly hope fandom will end up making the move -- or at least be as active on DW as they are on LJ.
Hell, I still have this and this and this in my open tabs because I wanted to link to these specific entries.
I even had the punchline: my #1 reason for wanting a DW account: they removed word count limit on interests. That alone was enough for me, bb. :)
Except real life got in the way and I had work to do and I felt sick all day [still do, unfortunately. Stupid random weather change. :(] and ended up not posting anything at all yesterday.
Fast forward to this morning. Woke up, got out of bed, dragged a comb across my head, checked my email --
I got a random invite because I had been using OpenID [and validated my email] to roam Dreamwidth so OBVIOUSLY I took advantage and created a journal: http://dtissagirl.dreamwidth.org/. \o/
And come April 30 I'll be forking out some $$$ to get myself a paid [premium paid?] account as well. Because I really really REALLY believe in these guys. Yes I do.
