From the annals of Reasons I adore Teh Internets, part eleventy billion:So Google launched their Google SearchWiki last Thursday and hey, coolness [I'm hearting the remove button!], but it sort of killed the Google Icon extension for logged-in users.
Except that on that very same day, someone figured out what was wrong and posted a comment on the Review page for the extension [it's the second comment] and now I've followed the instructions and O HAI, I can has favicons on Google while signed-up again!

Speaking of extensions, I keep adding/removing crap to/from my Firefox and consequently, adding the ones I like to the big software post.
Also, after the big reformat of last Friday I went looking for a few freeware things and now my newest favorite is Stickies for Windows! I used to have another app that made virtual post-its, but then I lost it and could only find ones I'd have to pay for. But this one is free and it has a billion different settings and yay! My desktop can look all cluttered again! *g* [Never mind the fact that I still have a bunch of random .txt files there as well. I so totally suck at getting rid of lists!]

I've realized that I usually post a new entry and only then I'll go back and answer comments to the previous one. I really should've been doing that the other way around, shouldn't I?
