I never make any serious real life New Year's Resolutions because the idea of *me* planning anything ahead = bwahahahahaha, you're kidding, right? *dies laughing*, but I figure I can do some of those for fandom/LJ/internets related stuff. So --
Tissa's New Year's Fandom Resolutions1. Make more icons. [I made THREE icon posts in 2007. Pathetic.]
2. Do some icon request posts as well. I miss those.
3. Take advantage of the WGA strike and get caught up with the whole bunch of TV shows I have around that remain unwatched.
4. Suck it up and cap as much of Stargate SG-1 as possible. [Plan A: start with S4 and pick randomly after that. Plan B: come up with a Plan C when Plan A inevitably fails.]
5. Cajole people into writing fic for me. Plot bunny #1: SG-1/NCIS crossover. Jack/Sam. Gibbs. Washington DC. Friday Night Poker. YES.
6. Buy Farscape on DVD. Even if that means being VERY POOR afterwards.
7. Comment more around LJ. Leave more feedback for fic/artwork.
8. Leave grudges behind and watch the Cupid DVDs that have been abandoned ever since I bought them. Pep talk: Jeremy Piven = love. Paula Marshall = adorable. Joe F = very pretty. Yes.
9. Post more random music dumps.
10. Stop rewatching SG-1 and Firefly over and over; instead do a run of the favorites: Buffy, X-Files Classic, Sports Night, Dead Like Me.
11. Update the guide more frequently.
12. Big Scan Project of 2008: go over all of my [and Marcia's] XF-related books/newspapers/magazines and scan everything pretty on them. Set up a big archive for the pretties.
Now if I can stick to at least half of that it'll be an accomplishment. *g*

I'm going to Tati's house as early as possible tomorrow [PAR-TAY!], so this is probably my last post of the year. Everyone, have a great New Year's Eve and an even greater 2008. I'll see you guys then.
