schizophrenia is taking me home

My take on the whole "should fandom leave LJ" brouhaha is such: do I love LJ's platform? I sure as hell do. Do I have any sort of loyalty to LJ? Not. at. all. My allegiance is to my friends list [and to fandom at large]. In short, I'll stay if you stay, I'll go if you guys go.
Still. With the help of this post, I've backed up my LJ [well, the public posts] at both InsaneJournal and GreatestJournal. Just in case.
And because Semagic is awesome, it helps that I can post to the multiple journals at once from now on.
Technology is awesome.

In other news, I've been laying about and watching TV all day. Non-spoilery commentary:
Eureka: I don't know what I was expecting from this season, but I've gone from Eureka is fun! to ZOMG I LOVE MY SHOW! Add that to the fact that the thing I love the most about this show is the father-daughter relationship between Jack and Zoe and I really couldn't ask for more. Also, much anticipation for this casting spoiler of GLEE. Yay.
Psych: I've finally figured out why the embarrassment factor doesn't bother me on Psych -- it's that the characters are aware [well, most of the time] that they're putting themselves in embarrassing situations. And I can deal with that just fine. Which is great, because currently no other show makes me laugh so much. I'm expecting Reaper will have the same effect on me.
Burn Notice: I'm still watching, but that's pretty much it. The show amuses me while it's on, but the minute it's over I can barely remember what's going on besides thinking "Jeffrey Donovan is insanely hot" and "Bruce Campbell stole Pacey Witter's shirts". The end.
