1. Strawberry Fields Forever: my favorite Beatles song. Possibly my favorite song EVER.
2. Spike: [Duh.] The backstory is I was bored and S6 had just started showing on Fox Latin and I ended up watching Afterlife. And there was this guy telling Buffy that every night he saved her and I was COMPLETELY GONE OMG SPIKE. Then I watched all of BtVS in a little over a month because I wanted to know more about said guy and the rest is history.
3. Sudoku: last year I used to solve Sudoku puzzles in my dreams. I haven't played much lately, but it's still the one puzzle/game I keep in my cell phone for times when I'm bored/restless/stuck in a traffic jam and need a distraction. And it works every time, because you can get the girl away from the numbers, but you can never take the numbers away from the girl. *g*
4. Stargate: I feel half-tempted to kick myself for not have been watching SG-1/SGA in real time for the past ten years, but at the same time, I love it that I found the shows now -- they have consistently made me happy/sad/giddy/frustrated for the past six months, and the timing couldn't be more perfect.
5. Snow Crash: hi, favorite book EVER. Do I need to talk about it endlessly again? *g*
6. Samantha Carter: you know how sometimes you want to be a fictional character when you grow up? I don't wanna be Sam -- I want her to exist in real life so I can be her best friend for life. That's how much I love her.
7. Sandwich: my favorite type of food. Of course, I should make the distinction here that sandwich for me means bread + cheese + everything else. If there's no cheese it's not a sandwich I don't care what people say. Anyway. I could live the rest of my life on sandwiches and not feel the need for anything else. I'd probably die of Scurvy, sure, but I'd die happy. *g*
8. Shivaree: my little darling shriek-y girly band that I've loved FOR YEARS before Tarantino decided to use Goodnight Moon on Kill Bill. Oh, Ambrosia. I love you veddy veddy much.
9. SKY: me and my SKY satellite dish have a LOVE/LOVE relationship going on eight years now. And it's never gonna end. Oh, technology. I heart you so.
10. Speed: yes, the movie. It's the one really bad really stupid [but written by Joss!] movie that I know by heart, can quote inside and out, have watched about thirty-three billion times and yet every now and then I'll feel the urge to see it again just for kicks. And I don't feel the least embarrassed by that. :)

In other news, I got caught up with last 4 episodes of The Dresden Files this past weekend and they were kind of really really awesome and please let it come back for S2! You've been so good to me lately, SciFi Channel dear, let's keep this rapport going, shall we?
