Whine: I really need someone with a car to come visit from Campos so they can bring me the pretty almost-new air conditioner my uncle gave me when he bought himself a new one. The thing's been stored at my grandmother's house for months now. And this is the time when I sort of need it.

Yesterday was so fucking hot [hot as in 43ºC -- that's 110º for you F people] that my computer wouldn't turn on unless I opened the CPU and left it opened, because the motherboard temperature was pushing 65ºC.
Now it's back at a manageable 50ºC, but I can't leave the CPU opened forever, especially living as near the sea as I do. That's just waiting for rust to eat it all up.

I have a feeling that with the creepy extended cold weather we got this year, we're in for the hottest Summer ever. Crap.
