The one thing Hollywood does better than anywhere else is naming movies.
Except they get renamed in translation here and it's always stupid. Case in point, Snakes on a Plane. Which pretty much *demanded* a literal translation. Cobras no Avião! It's perfect, it's simple, it's... not happening.
Instead, we get Serpentes a Bordo [literally, Serpents on Board], and the movie loses 99% of its coolness.
Bah.
