Last week, Clara and I figured out the perfect lyrics to a Bright Eyes song entitled The Butterfly, the Flip Flops, the Drawer and Me, about a girl who killed herself because Bright Eyes didn't call her. Except we didn't write it down and now it's all lost except for the "but you didn't call me, call me, call me" line that ended every stanza. Heh.
You know, if an unsuspecting citizen were to watch the selection of X-Files episodes [Sygyzy, War of the Coprophages, Jose Chung's 'From Outer Space', Pusher, The Unnatural] we saw this past weekend, they'd be pretty sure that Fox Mulder was an alcoholic besides the usual paranoid-unattainable-emotionally!damaged-CRAZY. Just sayin'.
Also, An Echolls Family Christmas + Coca-Cola high + 3am turns into:
Juju: Whoa. Jason Dohring is very blond!
Clara: Wow, you're right. He's REALLY blond!
Tissa: OMG it's blinding he's so blond!
...yeah.

My copy of Vengeance is finally here, after I ordered it like, last month. Stupid new shipping policies at Livraria Cultura. Still, yay book. I'm kind of afraid to read it, because it's been over a decade since I last did it, and I'm not as impressionable as I was back then.
Next in line is to track down a decent translation of Patrick Süskind's Le Parfum, because I've lost every single copy I ever bought, and I have MAD CRAZY LOVE for that sick sick book.
