space oddity
1. I always knew Jack and Meg White were on crack, but announcing they're opening the Get Behind Me Satan tour in Rio ONLY TWO WEEKS before it starts? GAH. I'm NOWHERE near prepared to think about it. And now I gotta make a decision in the next 3 days. It's pricey, it's far away, I need somewhere to stay after the concert... AAAAHH. Angst galore.
2. THE LIFE AQUATIC! OMG OMG OMG I WILL MARRY WES ANDERSON ONE DAY. I WILL! I just wanna know where the heck he found Seu Jorge. Because it's one thing for me to listen to the guy. I live here. Anyway. OMG OMG OMG I need this movie to come out on DVD NOW so that I can watch it daily for half a year. Kinda like what I did with The Royal Tenenbaums. Heh.
3. Yesterday was fun. Movies with Andreh, Clara, Tati, Jana, Adriana & PA. Then later, party at Renata's new place. Awesome!
4. Today's been fine too. Except for the pouring rain when I needed to get home. Brrrr. But I got to watch my race, so. Good. Formula-1 hit Monaco this weekend and I woke up early to watch it and eee! McLaren's back [alright!]. Also? Really funny to see the Red Bull cars stamped with Star Wars signs. Especially since neither car finished the race. HA.
5. When I was a kid, my favorite thing to have for lunch when I was feeling sick or down or just plain lazy was baked potatoes and hard boiled eggs. Mash them together, add salt and a ton of olive oil and you have some Arab dish I forget the name now. I'm totally making it for lunch today. :)
6. I got a bunch of The West Wing and Sports Night episodes to watch for the rest of the day. Ah, Sorkin.
