I'm almost back. Came back from the beach just now, but I'm still in Campos -- I'll be here for the weekend because Marcele and I have a date to watch Mr. Darcy's wet shirt that we borrowed from Clara. :)
Carnival was AWESOMELY GEEKY. We avoided the crowds and the samba and instead we had ourselves a DVD marathon. Star Wars, Spaceballs, Dead Like Me, X-Files, Pride & Prejudice... OMG we rule.
We also enjoyed the beach, obviously. I should take some pictures to show you guys -- a big river meets the sea there in Atafona, and the water has been destroying parts of the town for the past 10 years. The destruction site is just incredible. Lost would be a thousand times cooler if it was shot here.
Besides the geeky and the beach, there was also the FOOD. Also known as 1. barbecue at my Dad's place [twice!] and 2. HUUUUGE amounts of chocolate, in all possible forms. Yum.
Damn, I miss Carnival already.
But I have one kick ass tan.

Anyhoo. I'll be back for real on Monday. I'll catch up with you guys and the fandom ways of the week past then.
