RENT
So I just got home from the seeing RENT and it was done very well and I did like it a lot. There a few things that did make me up set and I knew that some of the songs were going to be edited or taken out. What I was really upset about was that they reordered the begining of it, like taking out "Tune-up" 1 & 2, taking out all of the answering machine songs(the scene breaks in the stage production) I like those they fill in a so much of the story, and taking out all of Benny's lines in most of the songs. I do have to say Rosario Dawson did a very good job except in "Out Tonight". She does not have the voice to belt out that song, and you definetly need to be able to belt out do do that song justice. Overall it was done very well.
Also you can see natehavoc as they pull back in the wideshot during the "New Years Eve" Scene as the cast walks across street to the apt. You can see him in the group of people in front of the yellow taxi cab with his arm around a girl with redish/orange hair. It was funny both redmags79 and I thought at first it was Bridgid but then I remebered that she wasn't there that night for the filming. Also once her face comes into view you can tell it's not her. Good going Nate on the clear view of being seen in the movie.
