Well, its official! I got the job!! Yay!! I suppose that now I have the job offer, I'm not going to jinx it so I can tell you what company its with. :) I will soon be a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones. WAHOO!!!
Well, not all that soon. Mostly becuase the earliest "class" they had available doesn't start until December 3rd. Bummer. So I have to wait until then before I start studying for my exams, which is a 2 month process. But hey, they do have a 90% passage rate compared to the industry's 60% so I can't really knock it, can I? I'm just disappointed that I can't start until December. Maybe I'll see if I can get a job at Dutch Bros. or something to keep me busy until then. I'm just getting so bored at home by myself. Oh, well. We'll see what happens. :) Who'd really hire me for only 2 months? I can't really think of anyone.
But I'm still really jazzed about getting this job! Its my dream job! We still don't know where I'll be working/where we'll be living, but hopefully we'll find out soon. Wow, this is still just so overwhelming! I'm not sure if its hit me yet that I actually have the job. And now we get to go celebrate in Vegas!!! :) Yay!
