Went to watch April Bride today with Dawn..
I've read the synopsis of the movie so I roughly knew the story but then I felt that the movie was too rushed..even though it's 2 hours long..it's like certain parts were just thrown out of nowhere and there's no real climax throughout..and even though it's supposed to be one of those sappy movies but it didnt feel that sad..in fact, we were laughing away at some of the "sad" scenes..Firstly, the guy who played Eikura Nana's dad in the movie was expressionless..when he found out his daughter had cancer and when he found out that she didnt have much time left..and the close up shots of his face then was just..(・・；) and secondly, Eita was too engrossed during the crying scenes..He had quite a couple of them..So much so that his mucus was dripping out of his nose..and he was like wiping his face,tears and mucus on Eikura Nana's face and hair..omg..and the last scene was the "funniest"..It's the scene where he was crying his heart out after watching Eikura Nana's last message on the videocam..Instead of feeling sad (could hear some girls who were sobbing and blowing their noses at the back) Dawn and I couldnt help but notice the thick mucus that's dangling from his nose(really) and looked like it's about to drip to the floor anytime soon..and we just bursted out laughing..I know, I feel bad and probably some of those girls who were crying must have thought we're nuts or something but still...that mucus was too obvious..(^▽^;)
Anyway,if I have to choose a scene that I like..it's probably the wedding scene when they played the song, The rose which was played during Taguchi's 3 lines love letter during ctkt..That song is so soothing and has a sad tone~
These few weeks, I managed to catch the cloudy with a chance of meatballs,500 days of summer,julie&julia and imagine that..I like 500 days of summer and julie&julia..Both are pretty fun and light hearted movies~ Ahh~ I'm a movie addict,really..
So when I came home, I was really shocked at the state of my cousin's house's front door..All of them were still awake and in the living room..The door was splashed with red paint!! Apparently, according to my cousin, the previous owner of the house which they bought from owed some money from some people? and i guess debt collectors like to do this sort of thing..what the hell.. Anyway, my cousin has put up sign in front to tell them that the owner's no longer staying here and to stop splashing stuffs..hopefully they wont cause any trouble after this..
