Are there really people with whom I communicate who do NOT understand that the Democratic party in the USA does not have control of the Senate? That the filibuster law allows Republicans to prevent laws from being put to the vote in the Senate. That the Republicans have been blocking all bills that might improve the economy for months and months? If one more person tells me that the Democrats have control and are totally responsible for this current mess (started by George W. Bush and not very fixable without bipartisan cooperation which has been sadly lacking), I will start screaming.
