Xbox 360 + RROD = FAIL!
In the midst of saving the world from terrorists in COD4. My Xbox 360 decides to freeze... Okay... that's wierd. REBOOT. Jams. REBOOT. Jams... BLINK BLINK BLINK... (RED RING OF DEATH!) Grrr.... I'm not a hardcore gamer and I keep the sucker well ventilated, yet it dies on me.
On the bright side, the 360 was bought from Costco and had 2 months left before their 2 year electronics warranty expired. So I bring it back and I got full store credit back on a gift card. Why a gift card? They didn't have the Elite or any other 360 that has the HDMI port in store. These run much cooler then the older 360s. Oh well, you can order an Elite online from Costco.
I know Microsoft has a three year warranty for the RROD, but at least this way I get to upgrade to an Elite and it's new.
