Dear Yulewriter

Dear Yulewriter!

Hi there! I am DELIGHTED that you love one of these things I love, and please by all means remember optional details are optional and write what makes you happy!

Some things I like, not necessarily all in the same story:
-Hurt/comfort, heavy on the comfort
-Domesticity
-Porn (where appropriate & illustrative of character/relationship, NOT REQUIRED AT ALL!)
-Kink & kink negotiation (as above, NOT REQUIRED PLEASE DON'T BE ALARMED IF IT'S NOT YOUR THING!)
-Polyamory & poly negotiation
-Cuddles, blankets, etc.
-Family feels
-Characters being smart and perceptive

Tropes I love, if you see a way to fit them into the fandom/characters in the question: kidfic, deaged characters, amnesia, woke up married, pretend relationship, marriage of convenience/arranged marriage, BDSM AU. (Uh, looking at my requests, I really don't know how some of these would work, but, you know, if you have a brilliant/irresistible idea, run with it! :D)

And if you have any questions, feel free to ask
iulia (iuliamentis on twitter and tumblr). She knows what I like!

The Martian, Mark Watney.

I would really really especially love post-book fic (post-rescue/pre-epilogue-montage, if you're going movie) about Mark's recovery from his ordeal. On the Hermes or back on Earth, he's going to have a lot to readjust to and SO MUCH trauma to deal with, physical as well as psychological. He's been cut off from other people from so long, in an aggressively hostile environment for so long, and I would just love to see how he copes when suddenly the pressure is off and he's free to break down.

(I am also very much in favor of sexy healing from Beck and Johanssen, or Beck with Johanssen's connivance/cooperation/etc., but please do not erase Beck and Johanssen's relationship to make way for Beck/Watney, that bums me out.)

If post-traumatic everything isn't your bag, I would also love any missing scenes from Mark's time on Mars!

Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries, Jack Robinson, Phryne Fisher.

NOW KISS.

Ahem. I mean. UST is also nice? I guess they could also... fight crime? I do like it when they fight crime. :D

BUT SERIOUSLY I JUST WANT THEM TO MAKE OUT. OR BANG. OR EXPLORE DEPTHS OF KINK PHRYNE DIDN'T THINK JACK KNEW EXISTED (BUT JACK TOTALLY DOES).

Anyway. I would love something that carries on from the end of the series! Or if you can insert them getting it on into an earlier point in the series, perhaps without quite articulating what it is they're doing and what it means, also great! I would LOVE Jack going after Phryne after the end of S3, or, oh man, the two of them dealing with the Thirties. Does Phryne lose all her money?? Inquiring minds etc.

The Raven Cycle - Maggie Stiefvater, Ronan Lynch, Adam Parrish.

??????

I am 75 pages into The Dream Thieves as of this writing, so I will edit this when I know more about what I want, but I LOVE THESE SAD BROKEN BOYS AND MAYBE YOU COULD SMOOSH THEM TOGETHER AND THEY COULD BE A LITTLE BIT LESS SAD FOR A MINUTE? I WOULD LIKE THAT.

ETA 11/11: Sorry that took so long, Yulewriter! (If you gave up and started writing already: that story is JUST WHAT I WANTED! AWESOME!) Real life things slowed me down in finishing Blue Lily, Lily Blue, but I am finished now and OH BOYYYYYYS. ILTHEM. And I stand by pretty much just wanting to smoosh them together and make them less sad. And also I stand by the feeling that Cabeswater is basically their shared egg baby project, dragging them together, so anything you want to do exploring any of that would be A+. Alternately, a story where they actually are the co-parents of an egg baby for a Life Skills Class project would be FANTASTIC. Non-supernatural AU where they're just high school dudes taking care of an egg? YES LOVELY THEY CAN MAKE OUT FOREVER. Full-throttle Cabeswater where SOMEBODY accidentally turns the egg into an actual baby/dragon/whatever and they have to dream/magic up a replacement egg to turn in? BASICALLY CANON. HERE FOR IT.

So. Yes! Go for it, Yulewriter! :D
