9 - Pairings - For each of the fandoms from day two, what are your three favorite pairings to write?
Right, so, obviously we are once again going with the
top ten fandoms I mentioned on day 3.
Numb3rs: Don/Charlie. Or at least it was, when I was writing, and I wrote a lot of it. Then I got into bandom and rediscovered my incest squick (or at least my conviction that, really, guys, this isn't healthy and you should try dating other people, okay? okay). But, still: Don/Charlie. Obviously.
David/Colby, also obviously, BOYFRIENDS. I am still waiting for fandom to produce the All-David-and-Colby-all-the-time edited version of the later seasons, because I understand I missed some good stuff!
And, uh... now I need to think of a third pairing I ever actually wrote. I guess... Don/Terry? I sort of wrote that one time. And I liked it in principle. Sure! Don/Terry.
Due South: Fraser/Kowalski. All Fraser/Kowalski all the time. I hardly ever even wrote gen in this fandom, which turns out to be a thing I do a fair amount of in other fandoms, because my overriding OTP was so very, very overriding.
And, uh... Ray/Frannie? Ray/Frannie was nice.
And... oh! Kowalski/Gardino. FUCK YEAH. I think that's the only pairing I have ever invented. ♥
Bandom: Gerard/Frank I think wins, numerically. Gerard/Bob. Jon/Brendon.
Stargate: SG-1 OT4. Period, the end. They belong together forever and always.
Uh, I guess... any given trio out of SG-1 is a reasonable substitute, if one of them is for some reason unavailable?
And... I wrote some John/Rodney drabbles one time?
Doctor Who/Torchwood: Jack/Ianto! I wrote a lot of that one! Aww, Jack and Ianto.
Ten/Donna! I only wrote it once, but they were awesome.
Mayhem/Jack Harkness, or possibly Donna/Dean Winchester. Or Jack/Aral Vorkosigan. CROSSOVERS FOREVER.
The Vorkosigan Saga: Aral/Cordelia! <3333333333333333333333333333
Aral/Jole. MY TIN HAT, LET ME SHOW YOU IT. THEY ARE SO CANON.
Gregor/Laisa! THEY ARE ADORABLE. AND DESERVE TO BE HAPPY. FOREVER.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Spike/Xander. Man, I had such a Spike/Xander OTP.
Spike/Angel. I am a sucker for canon pairings?
Spike/Dawn. I am also a sucker for all pairings involving Spike. And a sucker for Dawn.
Bones: Booth/Bones! I'm not sure that I ever wrote it in an explicitly pairing way, but they were the obvious OTP.
Angela/Hodgins! Also obviously MFEO, and again I am a sucker for canon het.
...I have a never-to-be-finished WIP that was Bones/Sully and Booth/Sully. If anybody even remembers that guy anymore. I really loved that story, though.
Dead Zone: Johnny/Sarah/Walt. Because, as I say, I am a sucker for canon pairings.
Johnny/Bruce. Because yes.
...actually, I think the never-to-be-finished WIP I had there was just Walt/Sarah. Because, awwww, them. ♥
Generation Kill: Brad/Nate! Although I have yet to write it properly actually HAPPENING, I swear, they are my favorite.
Brad/Ray! Because, hi, yes, they are married.
Rudy/Pappy! Because, hi, yes, they are married.
