Oh look, more fic! They don't exactly rely on each other, but I think of this story as being sort of the peanut butter to A Transfiguration's jelly.

So was that really just a dream, or was that Lucifer? And if it was Lucifer, why's she want Michael envesselfied?

Completely up to you and not at all for me to decide.

(Personally, I am the kind of crazy optimist who on top of believing Jimmy is alive, believes that Castiel doesn't actually know 100% of what he's talking about and it was Michael, which of course is a specific and dubious kind of optimism in the circumstances.)

Oh, how I adore your Supernatural fic, despite/because I don't watch the show. I stopped breathing at Dean's "who was I talking to?"

I just. Really really adore this. Jimmy and Castiel being such an entity together, the dream's utter ambiguity, Castiel having so much faith in the four of them, all of it. Lovely.

Especially this: Just Dean's brain calling Cas a bright and shiny thing ♥

Thank you! And Cas is totally a bright and shiny thing and Dean knows it. :)

Ooh. Haunting and dreamlike at the beginning - even when he was speaking to Cas - and then it got downright shivery at the end.
