Last night I was fretting a little about whether I would have my Southland fic ready to post before S2 starts (at which point, given the slightest provocation, I expect to become an ardent John/Cesar shipper).

Tonight, googling to figure out what @Cudlitz was talking about, I discovered that Southland's S2 premiere has suddenly been pushed back

I kind of think John/everyone ever is the best ship, because he has that much chemistry with the WORLD.

Well, I mean, it could have been worse. They could have cancelled it. At least it's still around.

This is what I am saying! I mean, if Cesar promptly drops off the face of the earth I will continue shipping Cooper/Sherman like a crazyperson, but if they let him have a boyfriend I AM SO ALL OVER THAT. So I've got my bases covered. :)

When they showed he was gay(I already suspected. First time I got the gay character before my sister.), I was so excited! Just like, wow, he's just gay? He's not GAY! He's just gay! YAY!

I was pretty excited.

I'm pretty sure they'll keep Cesar around. I mean, they did with everyone else' SOs. Tammy's practically a regular, for Pete's sake!

Well, I'd read about the fact that Michael Cudlitz was playing a gay cop before I actually watched the show, so right from the start I was going "Heeeeeeey, John drinks in a bar where there are no women whatsoever and the bartenders where little white tank tops! Okay!" I was always waiting for The Big Reveal, having read that he was, yep, really actually for real gay, so I cheered kind of A LOT at "I don't know, what does a faggot look like?" and then, yeah, kind of fell over with squee at him and Cesar at the end of the season. I definitely hope they keep him around!

I KNEW there was going to be a gay cop, but I didn't know which one it was. Bryant KIND of seemed like the right guy, but he was too right, if you know what I mean, then I noticed how awesome John was and I was like, "Is he..." then something clicked in my mind and I was like, "It's him!" My sister was like, "No!"

Then it was! I was vindicated!

I just rewatched the "What does a faggot look like" scene and I am so squeaky! YAY! John be awesome!
