Today, for possibly the first time in my life, I have Columbus Day off. I am enjoying it more than you might imagine from the fact that I'm awake at nine in the morning. *g*

Also today, for the first time in months, I have posted David/Colby fic over at numb3rsflashfic: Hair. iuliamentis and julad helped, but... it's all my fault, really.

Two midterms today. TWO. REALLY. HARD. MIDTERMS. I sulk in the general direction of anyone who has today off.

aww, honey! Midterms suck!

(Colby always hated midterms the worst, because he had to get good grades in all his academic courses or his CO would be up his ass over it, and they all came the same week the ROTC squad was really ramping up for the fall, serious time on the rifle range and fucking rappelling on the bell tower and it's not like he can't do it, just it takes time, and the fucking rope burn on his wrist is distracting when he's trying to study--and it's not like finals where at least you can crash afterward, catch up on your sleep, go home and let your ma feed you up--after midterms is just another damn week of work.)

And, uh, if it makes you feel better, I do have to go to class tonight.

that is SO EXACTLY what's wrong with midterms. because now I am done, yay! but I also have to do all my *other* homework that I put off to study all weekend for these, and class, and work, and more class, and more work, and ew.
