I received a phone call today....
Concerning a job for which I have been waiting very patiently.
I have been accepted.
The question: Would I like to wait to start in July.... or would I be able to drop everything and go to Georgia this weekend?
The answer: Let's do it.
Now: I only have to wait to hear the news tomorrow saying YAY or NAY to being added to the most recent class. In which case I will be driving down to Georgia, getting there by Sunday, and starting on Monday. If this is not the case.... I will start training in July.
If I start now I will be back in time to see Nine Inch Nails with my Uncle Kevin in August. Oh how cool God can be!
Unfortunately, if I start now I will miss my Red Sox Vs. Yankees game at Yankee Stadium next month. Sheesh. So much for cake and eating.
