I am journeying to the frozen north this Christmas season. Reminds me very much of Victor Frankenstein's fevered pursuit of the creature through the desolate ice fields of the Arctic. Except I didn't irresponsibly create life out of death. I mean, I guess I could try, but doesn't that contradict Mary Shelly's messsage?
Anyway, I'm mushing with Avery to Edmonton once more, except this time there will, apparently, be massive quantities of snow (and I won't need a VISA anymore). Excellent - now I'll get to see how those weird car plugs work. In unrelated news, I picked up the new Depeche Mode yesterday. Very good. I dare to say even better than their last album. Playing the Angel (the new CD) reminds me a lot of Violator. The only quipp I have is that the second half of the CD is missing some of the pulse-pounding of the first half. Then again, that's probably just an issue of track arrangement, so I'll accept it.
