I'm still here!!

Looking forward to seeing you Miss D. We tend to leave organising nights out to the last minute, but I'm sure we'll give you lots of notice as to what's happening on Friday night.

The weather's been a bit crap lately, but that shouldn't stop you from getting out and about.

It's so hard to think of "must-see" things in Melbourne if you've only got a few days. I've been here nearly 3 years and I still haven't seen everything I want to!

But recently I had a friend visiting from QLD and I took him down to St Kilda, and for a wander through the Botanic Gardens. The Shrine (in the Gardens) has a lookout up the top where you get a great 360 degree view of Melbs and don't have to pay $14 like you would at the Rialto.

Also, don't forget Brunswick St (it's good in the daytime too), maybe Chapel St if you feel like laughing at "beautiful people" (the shopping's awesome too), and just getting lost in the city and its many laneways is always fun :)

Thanks Ange - sounds good. Yes I was def planning on making a return trip to Brunswick St, for sure. Is there anything on at the usual haunts there this weekend? and Chapel St is where, in the city, or St Kilda?
ALSO... WHERE IS A GOOD PLACE TO GO TO GET CHEAP CLOTHES/SHOES/BAGS ETC ETC ??
